Beta Xi Chi Multicultural Fraternity, Inc. was established on November 11th, 1998, when five men came together in an effort to achieve a common goal. This goal was to offer the men on the Texas A&M University campus an opportunity to share their own unique culture, and to exchange knowledge and perspectives in hopes of creating an understanding of individual differences.
The founders of Beta Xi Chi are Miguel Botello, Mexican-American; Carlos Guerra, Mexican-American; Ron Williams, African-American; Ricky Chan, Chinese-American; and Chris Gaines, Czech-American. Diversity, Education, and Service are the goals the brothers of Beta Xi Chi strive to achieve.
On May 3rd, 2008, Beta Xi Chi inducted the Beta Chapter of University of Texas Pan American in Edinburg, located in the Rio Grand Valley of Texas.
